Before I begin, I preface this with the fact that this is not the complete history of Bdsm that would take hours. Instead, I try to gather as many interesting moments in Bdsm history as I could get together and hopefully one or two videos. There’s so much more history and so much more new wants to talk about when it comes to Bdsm

Founded in 1954, the Satyrs Motorcycle Club is the oldest, continuously running gay organization in the world. The men in this motorcycle club were profoundly affected by the two world wars and Stanley Kramer’s film, The Wild Ones, which featured a leather-clad icon Marlon Brando.
Story of O (French: Histoire d’O, IPA: [istwaʁ do]) is an erotic novel written by French author Anne Desclos under the pen name Pauline Réage, with the original French text published in 1954 by Jean-Jacques Pauvert
Desclos did not reveal herself as the author for 40 years after the initial publication. Desclos stated she wrote the novel as a series of love letters to her lover Jean Paulhan,[1] who had admired the work of the Marquis de Sade. The novel shares with the latter themes such as love, dominance, and submission.

It turned out this entire book which was supposed to be a clinical study was all a lie created to attack things considered taboo.

Not to mention so much fictional works that inspired kink sometimes a century later plus the rich history of local and regional communities. The truth is the launch of the World Wide Web brings the community and the Bdsm culture out of the shadows, and becomes more accessible than ever before. There’s also so much more history to Bdsm communitie and culture. These are highlights of moments, but there’s so many more stories to shared
